Day 08 - A Song that reminds you of your “first love”

Awh you know who you are honey (L) and you know I loooove you. I know you’re probably expecting me to get real deep with this but it’s late and I’m behind with these, and you’re going to come up on like day 14 which is also my favourite number so yeah. 
Wait and Bleed - Slipknot is the song that reminds me of my first love. So normal right, well I’ll explain it a bit.
It was over two years ago, during the blistering cold winter when my love and I would wonder aimlessly through the forest and trails for hours. This song was his ring tone and every time he was called I would have these mixed feelings. I dreaded it because it meant our adventure was potentially over but when the two of us started singing it together it became magical. I’m pretty sure that it was the first song we sang together. TIme really does fly, I love you Mike :)

Day 07 - A song that reminds you of your past sumer 

My last summer… wasn’t very good I don’t think. It’s not like I discovered a song or had a favourite on repeat, so I’m just going to say
Every Rose Has It’s Thorns - Poison because my boyfriend and I skipped our ‘prom’ to see Motley Crue and Poison and that was pretty awesome. :) 

Day 06 - A song that reminds you of your of a best friend. 

I have honestly been looking so forward to answering this because I love her so much but now that this question is here I have no idea how I could just pick one song. So I’m going to write about her for a bit, I met her in grade 9 but I didn’t really know her. Then all of a sudden I actually did meet her, I don’t know if I could pick out the exact day, she really snuck up on me and then all of a sudden that was it. She’s always been there for me even when we drift slightly out of touch she never leaves my heart and I know we’ll come back together. She’s the only one who’s really stood by me (the proof being she’s still here) and I love her so much for that. I would do anything for her. She is like the sister I never had (and it’s funny because we’re not that girly). When we first started hanging out I thought we were a great pair because she was all gothic like and I was all gothic like but little did I know that we were even more similar then I thought. She’s part of the reason why System of a Down is my favourite band.

We used to spend our photo classes in the back corner of the computer lab watching music videos and live videos to a lot of their songs. We would google their names and you picked Serj and I picked Daron. Those are some of my happiest memories of high school, sitting there slacking off with you. And if we weren’t listening to SOAD we were listening to Mindless Self Indulgence, in particular, 
Shut Me Up - Mindless Self Indulgence We used to watch that music video and laugh.

Now if I was supposed to pick a song that reminds me of you (that I don’t have a memory attached to) I know exactly what song I’d pick, 

Extraordinary Girl - Green Day Because Megan, you are an extraordinary girl. You have a heart of solid gold and you deserve all of the happiness in the world. My world would crumble if I ever lost you, I love you.

Day 05 - A song that is often stuck in your head

Careless Whisper - George Michael I’ve said this before but yeah this song is always getting stuck in my head
Walk Like A Man - Divine This is the latest song that’s been getting stuck in my head, omg. 

Today was almost a train wreck, I hung out with Mike which was soooo awesome, went out to dinner with his family, totally okay with that. Billy, Barrett, and Addison were there and it just makes me sad because I want my friends. I want MY friends, I want my death sister, Megan and my girl/guy friend Spencer.
At one point Addison’s spacer fell out and I told him that I would put it in, and he just like didn’t even respond :(
I know for a fact that if that was my Megan she would either let me put it back in or go “you’re sweet but I got it” not ignore me
Well long story short it broke my heart, I wanted to cry. I just miss my friends who know me and know how I am. 

Megan I seriously can not wait for New York, I miss you so much I’m just going to cry my eyes out the whole way to New York.

Day 04 - A Song That Calms You Down

Chop Suey! - System Of A Down this is it, this is my song. I have so many powerful positive memories and emotions tied in with this song that right from the very beginning, that guitar, everything just fades away and I get to lose myself for 3:30.
